My client is one of London's most popular Private Members Clubs spreading over several acres of landscaped grounds, offering a selection of events and sports, whilst being a staple of its neighbour and community. The payroll project manager will lead the expert on pension legislation and the operation of the Club’s pension schemes, including the implementation of pension and payroll-related legislative and system changes. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and have extensive experience with several payroll systems and pension matters, along with working in hospitality or leisure businesses. Job Responsibilities: Implement a new pension scheme and salary sacrifice scheme for the Club. Collaborate closely with the Payroll and HR teams to communicate the new schemes to our employees. Ensure all relevant paperwork concerning the pension scheme is in order. Review our payroll process and systems to identify potential opportunities to find efficiencies and implement automation opportunities where possible. Provide insightful reporting and analysis related to payroll and pensions for decision-making purposes. Any other tasks as reasonably instructed. The successful candidate: Experienced in salary sacrifice and pension scheme implementation, including communication, consultation, onboarding, and reporting. Proficiency in payroll software and systems, focusing on UK-specific platforms. Solid understanding of pension and salary sacrifice schemes. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with high attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and manipulation. Familiarity with time and attendance systems. Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and trends in payroll management and pension schemes.
