ABOUT THE ROLE As Director, Creative, you will be an integral member of the Marketing department, with a mandate to lead and continue building a creative team to develop highly conceptual breakthrough creative ideas and design work. You understand how to use brand strategy and how to connect concepts to a brand’s platform, to develop creative work that is consistently on brand and will position Sephora as the prestige leader in the beauty and retail market. You’re strategic, persuasive, a compelling presenter, and like staying current on the latest trends, have a portfolio including a breadth of work demonstrating both integrated & channel-specific creative expertise with a particular strength in retail, digital, social, out-of-home, and experiences. Your work will span the spectrum of concepting campaigns, inspiring and coaching your team, working collaboratively across all functions, and helping to scale up the Sephora Canada marketing business by finding creative opportunities, process efficiencies, and working with strategic partners. Whether building our exciting in-store experiences, supporting our digital initiatives, planning our loyalty program campaigns, developing multi-pronged marketing strategies, writing copy, or designing integrated campaigns, you are constantly finding ways to underscore our promise to partner with our clients to make the beauty world feel like it’s theirs—and our place as the industry leader.
