Candidate will be responsible for posting manual revenue and deferred entries and reconcile G/L balances. In addition, this candidate will perform contract review procedures. The individual is expected to adapt in a fast-paced work environment, and work effectively within the revenue team and with various stakeholders to meet tight deadlines. Job Requirements * Prepare calculations to determine adjustments and accruals needed for revenue recognition and post journal entries.* Apply expert knowledge of ASC 606 to analyze revenue contracts and transactions, ensuring compliance with the standard's guidelines and requirements.* Perform monthly revenue accounting close responsibilities, including preparation of revenue schedules, account reconciliations, roll forwards, journal entries, and other deliverables within the close package.* Collaborate with the internal audit team to ensure compliance with SOX controls related to revenue accounting and provide support during SOX testing and documentation.* Perform contract review and document the revenue impacting terms and conditions from customer contracts.* Assist with external audits and act as a point of contact for revenue-related inquiries from auditors.* Assist manager with the revenue analysis over Enterprise License Agreements (ELA's) and perform monthly journal entries for these ELAs. Additionally, assist with the monthly reconciliation and disclose process. Education * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.* Located in the Raleigh-Durham area of the United States to support the hybrid work environment.* Minimum of 2 years experience in revenue accounting.* CPA is not required, but a plus.* Experience with accounting operations (e.g., reconciliations) and strong Excel skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.* Experience with Oracle and RevPro systems is a plus.* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. USA and Canada Residents Only: The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $79,380 - $111,540. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.
