This person will be responsible for developing and leading both the social marketing strategy as well as a holistic influence program to create and expand the reach of NetApp's executives via digital platforms.The ideal candidate will possess deep experience positioning executive leadership before global audiences as well as have a deep understanding of influencer marketing and social media strategy. This person should be passionate about pushing the boundaries of creativity to simplify complex technical concepts into impactful, comprehensible narratives.This position requires adept leadership, executive communication, social media, and marketing strategy expertise. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the voice to the market via executive messaging, influence, and social media that directly impacts peer business communities via technical influencers. Key Responsibilities Executive Voice Strategy & Program Development: Develop and execute an ongoing, comprehensive plan that establishes a strong external voice for NetApp's executive leadership, aligned to NetApp's corporate brand and strategic business objectives.Create and maintain distinct persona voices for each NetApp executive, ensuring alignment with the company's values and objectives.Collaborate with executives to craft and curate engaging content that resonates with target audiences.Identify key target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategy development.Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging platforms, and technological advancements to keep the organization's social media efforts cutting-edge.Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of the program and make data-driven adjustments. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of social media experts and content creators to work collaboratively on building a social voice program and accompanying social media marketing campaigns for NetApp.Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback to ensure the team's growth and success.Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages creativity and continuous improvement. Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation, curation, and scheduling of high-quality and engaging content across various social media channels for NetApp's executives.Ensure that the content aligns with NetApp's voice, messaging, and visual identity.Review and approve content produced by the team to maintain consistency and quality standards. Strategic Go-to-Market Social Campaign Development & Engagement: Design and implement a strategic social engagement model that aligns with the company's go-to-market plans and business priorities.Conceptualize, plan, and execute executive voice social media campaigns that promotes NetAppbrand, products, services, events, and initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, PR, and sales, to integrate NetApp's executives into broader company marketing opportunities.Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure social engagement activities effectively drive awareness and engagement with key audiences. Analytics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media success and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.Analyze data insights to refine strategies, identify trends, and present regular performance reports to stakeholders.Monitor and track the impact of influencer-led initiatives and optimize strategies for maximum reach and engagement. Budget Management: Manage the social media budget, allocating resources effectively for paid advertising, content creation, tools, and campaigns.Ensure optimal ROI by monitoring and adjusting spending based on performance results. Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis communication plans for addressing negative feedback, social media crises, and reputation management. Education & Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred). Proven experience (10+ years) in leading successful executive engagement programs, social media marketing, and influencer marketing within a B2B context. Strong understanding of executive communication and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling narratives. Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use insights to refine strategies. Proficiency in using social media management tools, analytics platforms, and content creation software Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead cross-functional teams. Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Strong project management skills and attention to detail. USA and Canada Residents Only: The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is [$231,210 Min - 305,470 Max}.. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.
