As a Lead Hand, You Will: Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviours at all times in support of Miller’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives Maintains daily work load and organize Shop Technicians Organize the service/repair of all company vehicles and equipment Repairs vehicles, heavy trucks and heavy equipment, including hydraulics and electrical General Shop maintenance Preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment Enforces company safety, maintenance, and corporate policies and procedures, including 6S Shop Program Ensures productivity and cost saving for the Shop What You'll Bring: 310T Truck and Coach Technician license or in progress Willingness and ability to be part of the on-call rotation Ability to diagnose and rectify faults with diagnostic software experience, an asset Experience in repairing hydraulics and electrical systems Own set of tools Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges Enjoy working in a team environment and leading 310T apprentices and licensed technicians Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and public holidays as needed Effective communication and time management skills Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 50lbs Miller is proud to provide this unique career opportunity, we offer continuous.
