Service Care Solutions have an exciting new opportunity for an Accommodation Assistant to work for a well established client based in Wakefield. Main duties as an Accommodation Assistant are to provide administrative support to the accommodation team relating to the accommodation portfolio and the day to day work of the team. To deal with a variety of customer contacts made via email, telephone and face to face, many of which will be from vulnerable households. Service Care Solutions have an exciting new opportunity for an Accommodation Assistant to work for a well established client based in Wakefield. Main duties as an Accommodation Assistant are to provide administrative support to the accommodation team relating to the accommodation portfolio and the day to day work of the team. To deal with a variety of customer contacts made via email, telephone and face to face, many of which will be from vulnerable households. The post holder is responsible for inputting and extracting data from Council and in house data bases and information systems. Key responsibilities as an Accommodation assistant. Responsible for being the first point of contact in the accommodation team for customers. This will include dealing with telephone, electronic and face to face enquiries and either dealing with them or signposting on. Responsible for maintaining and updating manual and in house computerised recording systems around customer contacts. Responsible for monitoring, responding and managing incoming mail to the team email inbox. Responsible for ensuring that the Accommodation Team has an adequate supply of stationery and other daily requirements. Responsible for providing administrative support for the Accommodation Team, including producing letters, filing, photocopying, word processing, file updating, etc. Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm Accommodation assistant requirements.
