Purpose Director, IT Asset Management is responsible for delivering critical technology capabilities to allow Scotiabank to effectively understand, monitor, track and report on entirety of our Hardware and Software portfolio. The incumbent partners with the IT Service Management Hardware, Software, Incident, Problem and Change process owners to ensure that the Bank’s ITSM processes are effective. The Director leads several labs which are accountable for managing and maintaining the CMDB, which is Scotiabank’s Book of Record for all IT Assets globally. The incumbent is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of this Bo R. Accountability Is a partner with the relevant process areas to ensure compliance to the legal and regulatory standards for the ITAM space. This includes ensuring that the Scotia Service Now platform enables compliance with B-13 in Canada, FFIEC requirements in the US, and is consistent with ITIL 4.0. Acts as the overall technology expert in IT Asset Management, and partners with architecture to ensure solutions are design that are effective, supportable and compliant. ads a group of labs in support of the ITAM domain, ensuring that resources are allocated to the labs and that leads, and lab members are supported. Ensures that labs operate in partnership and alignment with the process owners to deliver product owner’s priorities. Maintains a high level of deep Service Now, ITAM, and automated Discovery expertise, and supports the resolution of technical challenges, production incidents and other technology issues. Engages with Service Now to ensure alignment with best practices, and to bring additional expertise as needed. Is the point of escalation for both within SMT and from other areas for any issues/challenges within the scope of IT Asset Management agile teams. Leads the SMT components.
