The business specialise in making measurement sensors.Senior Buyer We are currently partnering with a well known and long standing manufacturer in the Lymington area. The business specialise in making measurement sensors and have a extensive range of products they place into market. Part of the growth plans they have is the acquisition of the Senior Buyer. The senior Buyer will report to the group procurement manager and will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating buying a range of goods for the groups objectives. The senior buyer will be from a technical background and must be able to work to tight and efficient deadlines. Senior buyer responsibilities - Purchase goods, materials, components with specified delivery, quality and cost targets - Ensure continuous supply of required goods and communication any supply - Deliver briefs and reports - Comply with company's health and safety policies - Build and maintain supplier relationships - Conduct supplier reviews and briefings Senior buyer qualifications - Professional qualification in procurement or supply chain - 3 years experience in a technical buyers role - Proven experience in the manufacturing industry - Experienced in the use and exploitation of MRP/ERP Systems - Use of Syspro ERP would be a advantage - Proven ability to hit operational and commercial targets Senior buyer's please apply, if you have any questions please email .
