This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to break into the world of Property Accounts or an experienced individual looking to share their experience. Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Posting bank receipts in various forms Cheques, Standing Order & Debit Card Payments Bank Reconciliations Dealing with telephone and email queries relating to service charge demands/statements and handling difficult situations. Assisting with credit control procedure, ensuring payment plans are on track, liaising and aiding with arrears run. Accounts Payable Receipt and distribution of invoices to property manager for approval Accurately posting of invoices and bank payments on a weekly basis Follow-up with overdue and omitted invoice queries Management of ongoing Electricity queries Budgeting Work alongside property managers during budget creation, providing budget vs actuals Enter service charge budgets Create and distribute service charge and ground rent invoices Creation of supplementary demands and working alongside property managers with section 20 notices / demands Ad-hoc finance reporting Leasehold Outstanding Nominal Detail Report Requirements Microsoft Office Skills beneficial but not essential Pivot Tables, Formula’s, Data Processing and Mail Merges Sound knowledge of Propman Accounting Software or similar finance and unit management software.
