About Our Opportunity Do you want to be a part of the exciting changes happening in the Nova Scotian Health System? As the Director, Hospital Programs, within the Clinical Care, Delivery and Capital team at the Department of Health and Wellness, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders and system partners leading the formulation, development, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programs that fall under the Hospital Programs accountability. These programs include acute inpatient; critical care; medical assistance in dying and palliative care; pediatrics; woman’s and maternal health; perinatal and newborn care. This position will work closely with our partners at Nova Scotia Health Authority and IWK Health Authority to ensure all aspects of the acute care/hospital-based system in Nova Scotia are operating sustainably and effectively in meeting both the needs of Nova Scotians and the objectives of the government.
