As the Director, Pensions, you will be responsible for managing a multi-billion-dollar pension portfolio including: optimizing plan administration, leveraging vendor partnerships, increasing member understanding and engagement, and oversight of pension management best practices and good governance. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: Managing all aspects of the pension administration, across all of Sobeys’s regions nationally including actively seeking areas for improvement and modernization of pension management; Collaborating effectively with pension partners and vendors to provide well researched recommendations to optimize performance; Possessing a deep understanding of the pension landscape and stakeholders, with proven experience working with key vendors; Being well versed in governance and grounded in legal and tax implications of pensions and planning across various provincial legislature;.
