Position: CNC Operator/Machinist Location: Leitrim Salary: Neg DOE Our Leitrim based client are a leading, innovative manufacturer of bespoke solid wood furniture with a distinct focus on developing exports into Europe, the USA and Australia. Responsibilities: Plan machining by studying work orders and drawings in line with production schedule. Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Requirements: Have at least 2 years CNC experience Be able to read workshop drawings. Be able to work on own innovative. Have experience of working within a team environment. Be able to work to a high standard. Be able to work to deadlines. Be flexible to work overtime when required.
