Quantity Surveyor - London - £30,000 - £70,000 Client My client are an industry leader within the Quantity Surveyor industry, Covering a number of contracts throughout the South East An excellent opportunity has arisen within the London area for an experienced Quantity Surveyor Quantity Surveyor - London - £30,000 - £70,000 Client My client are an industry leader within the Quantity Surveyor industry, Covering a number of contracts throughout the South East An excellent opportunity has arisen within the London area for an experienced Quantity Surveyor Key Responsibilities: - Estimate the costs of materials, labor, and equipment required for construction projects. - Analyze and evaluate project specifications and drawings to develop accurate cost estimates. - Develop and manage project budgets in collaboration with project managers and other stakeholders. - Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process. - Prepare and analyze tender documents. - Evaluate contractor and supplier bids, and make recommendations for selection. - Negotiate and finalize contracts with contractors and subcontractors. - Administer construction contracts, including handling variations and claims. - Ensure that all parties comply with contractual terms and conditions. - Resolve contractual and commercial issues as they arise. - Perform quantity takeoff and measurement of work items for cost estimation and valuation. - Verify and certify progress payments to contractors based on completed work. - Identify potential risks that may affect project costs and timelines. - Develop strategies to mitigate risks and manage the impact on project finances. - Work with project teams to find cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. - Propose alternatives and improvements to enhance project value. - Prepare regular financial reports for project stakeholders, highlighting budget variances and financial status. - Provide financial advice and updates to.
