Position Overview Responsible for slating elective surgical procedures in accordance with Hospital policy. Prepares operative slates for distribution. Experience Previous experience as a Clerk Typist or its equivalent required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Grade 12. Current recognized course in medical terminology required. It is recommended that, at minimum, staff possess the Family & Friends category of training. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Typing essential, 40 wpm. Command of the English language consistent with the demands of the job. Knowledge of computers required. Demonstrated keyboard skills required.
