By integrating a Harm Reduction framework at Good Shepherd, we can decrease barriers to service and better support some of our community's most marginalized members. This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd Non Profit Homes - Toronto Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer - Toronto or delegate , the Program Manager works as a member of a dynamic team of individuals to assist in enhancing the dignity and quality of life in the lives of to individuals living with mental health, substance use-related needs and the affects of homelessness within our community. How You Will Make an Impact Good Shepherd Non-Profit Homes is seeking a professional who can uphold and execute duties in harmony with the organization's mission and values. The role demands adherence to policies and conduct that reflect dignity, cultural competence, respect, and an integrated anti-racism/anti-oppression framework. Responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information, adhering to work schedules, and presenting the organization positively. Manages in a dynamic, values-based environment the employs evidence-based practices. The candidate is expected to develop collaborative relationships with other health and social service providers, ensuring comprehensive service provision. This includes a range of responsibilities like conducting intake interviews, case management, crisis intervention, supportive counseling, advocacy, and promoting.
