About Our Opportunity Do you want to be a part of the exciting changes happening in the Nova Scotian Health System? As the Director, Emergency Care, within the Primary, Urgent and Emergency Care team at the Department of Health and Wellness, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders and system partners leading the development, monitoring and evaluation of policies and programs related to emergency care in Nova Scotia. This position will work closely with DHW Emergency Health Services (EHS) and our partners at the Nova Scotia Health Authority and IWK Health Authority to ensure emergency care in Nova Scotia is effectively meeting the needs of Nova Scotians and the objectives of government. You will develop and advance recommendations to monitor and improve performance. The position will also work in partnership with Tajikeimik on their journey of health transformation and will partner on the growth and evolution of the health and wellness services and programs used by Mi’kmaw people in.
