Expected work schedule for the Toledo Ministry Coordinator : Full- or part-time, flexible schedule Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projects Attendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff Retreats Pay structure for a Toledo Ministry Coordinator : Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners Pay range is typically between $24,960 and $72,800 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors Toledo Ministry Coordinator Benefits : Paid vacation, sick, holidays, and more (once eligible) Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) for eligible staff Flexible hours and work-from-home availability Work for a growing Christian organization Staff care to support mental, social, and spiritual health for all staff About the area and Responsibilities of a Toledo Ministry Coordinator: Toledo continues to welcome people from all over the world to study, work, and raise their families. With international students numbering in the thousands, this city is a strategic location for bringing the gospel to students and families from all over the world. The Toledo Ministry Coordinator supports the location leader with church relations, volunteer mobilization, and campus ministry. This position relies on the Toledo Ministry Coordinator's knowledge of Christian values and content, the ability to share that with others, and administrative and people skills. The Toledo Ministry Coordinator will: Campus Ministry Coordinate/participate in cultural activities/trips Extend hospitality to international students, such as welcoming them to the area, providing transportation to activities, and familiarizing them with their new environment Participate in an outreach activity, such as bible study, friendship partnership, or 1-on-1 discipleship Church Relations Establish new church relationships Activate church coordinators and facilitate their involvement Maintain data related to church partnerships and coordinators Volunteer Coordination Work with volunteers, including recruitment and matching to activities Attend and assist volunteers during outreach activities and big events Maintain data related to volunteers Qualifications needed from the Toledo Ministry Coordinator, including Spiritual Characteristics Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies Is faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently Be a self-starter, as well as a team player Ability to work under stress and be flexible Enjoys working with people and has strong interpersonal skills, especially when addressing a dissatisfied student or volunteer Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications Education/Experience Preferred for Toledo Ministry Coordinator: Bachelor degree (or higher) in education and/or ministry-related field or demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people Cross-cultural ministry experience, preferred International Friendships, Inc.
