Business Development Representative We are looking for a full-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to add to our team. (Don't worry, previous sales experience is not required, we will teach you everything you need to know!) This job is located in our North Dallas, TX office. A day in the life as a Business Development Rep - BDR Working from your own cubicle and your own home, we will give you the opportunity to do lots of different things. Primarily, you'll be engaging with and talking to potential customers over the phone or via email campaigns in an attempt to fill the Account Executive's calendar. You'll warm any leads then hand them off to the Account Executive to complete the sale while still receiving credit for your portion of the work. If you have a question or need some help, you'll be surrounded by helpful, friendly people who are ready to jump in and collaborate with you in finding the best solution for the customer's needs. Our open-door policy ensures that you can get access to the person who has the information or knowledge that you need to get the job done for our customers. What you need to be qualified for this job You might be thinking, I don't have any experience with promoting online education resources, well that's GREAT because we can train you. To get this job you need to have resilient mindset, great phone skills and be a creative problem solver. You also need to be good with a computer and the Internet. What you need to be qualified for this job To be qualified for this job, you must be currently located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex or have plans in place to reside in the area ahead of your start date. You've got to have a positive and caring attitude. You'll be engaging with our highly valuable customers on a daily basis, so it is vital that you can show them how much we care. You'll need to know how to use the tools of the trade, that means phone skills, computer skills, and ability to use software. And finally, since it isn't likely that you have used all the systems that your new job will require, you've got to be willing to jump in and learn how to use our systems and provide feedback on things that we can improve.
