The Senior Marketing Support Specialist will respond to sales and service related inquiries from groups, producers, and subscribers. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR MARKETING SUPPORT SPECIALIST Provide assistance to the Maine Sales Team; prepares proposals and supporting materials for presentations; researches and organizes information; reviews applications for accuracy and completeness of information. Responds to routine telephone calls regarding prospective business, service, and renewals by answering producer and group questions and sending materials. Types a variety of documents, correspondence, forms, reports, group renewals and other information requiring attention to detail and accuracy; drafts routine correspondence to respond to inquiries from producers/agents and others; mails notifications to producers/agents of renewing groups. Conducts new group enrollment sessions, orientations, flex education seminars, and benefit fairs, and represents the corporation at conferences and community events. Educates producers in Delta Dental's products as needed. Provides back-up technical support to the Maine or Vermont marketing staff to help achieve corporate business retention and service objectives; assists in benefit comparisons and preparation of bids. Performs a variety of duties to maintain the office; picks up and sorts incoming mail and processes outgoing mail; maintains the neatness and cleanliness of the office and the maintenance of office equipment. QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE: As the Senior Marketing Support Specialist, you will have. . . Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, plus at least two years' experience in health benefits, dental benefits, insurance, or financial services field, or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and/or education. Must be licensed in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont for health/accident insurance sales or obtain license within 6 months of employment. Must complete state continuing education requirements to maintain required license. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SENIOR MARKETING SUPPORT SPECIALIST The typical work schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. This position will work on-premises at our Saco Maine location and remote when appropriate.
