JOB OPENING FOR AN Office Specialist FOR THE Washington County Sheriff's Office Full-time with benefits / $19.46 Hour County Compensation Calculator: https://www.washco.utah.gov/forms/human-resources/compensation-calculator/#calc Hours: Various/ on-call to include holidays, nights and weekends Performs a variety of complex clerical duties as needed to provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support for the Sheriff's Office including: reception functions, accounts receivable, recording keeping, data entry, inmate accounting, inmate visitation, medical unit coordination, patrol records, accounts payable, mail service, library programs, inventory, security and disposition of inmate property. May be assigned to cross-train in all WCSO clerical areas. Minimum Qualifications : Graduation from High School and course work in general office practices and secretarial duties. Two (2) years of experience performing course work in general office practices and secretarial duties. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation.
