Evening Care and Support Specialist (In-Office Position)

Description:
FirstLink is looking for a Care and Support Specialist. This person will answer FirstLink's 24-hour Helpline, Crisis Line, and Suicide Line providing crisis intervention, listening and support, and information and referral services. The Specialist must display exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills. A successful candidate will have some experience in crisis intervention or customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills. A lot of in-house training is provided for this position. The Care and Support Specialist will also make outgoing calls and texts to those on the Care and Support program to provide follow-up support. This position requires employees to work every other holiday. The hours for this position are between 3 pm-11 pm or 4 pm-12 am. We provide free health, dental, and vision for FirstLink staff. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits: Dental Insurance Employee assistance program Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Evening shift - Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Work Location: In person
