We pay a competitive salary that ranges between $34 - $40 per hour, depending on experience, and we provide great benefits including health, dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), and sick leave. We also offer company-paid uniforms, a gas card, iPad, a company vehicle, and remote options . The typical schedule is 40+ hours per week, weekends and overtime are required . ABOUT THE PLUMBING GENERAL MANAGER The Plumbing General Manager provides leadership, schedules, coordination, supervision, and oversight of the performance of personnel. The Plumbing GM often acts as a client interface and problem solver. As a GM, you will exercise responsibility for developing and managing business operations that increase sales, profitability, and customer, as well as, employee satisfaction. LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure new team members are oriented to the expectations of the Company • Assess the competency and capability of personnel providing coaching and training • Evaluate the capability and results ensuring that personnel meet quality workmanship standards and expectations • Set and maintain work standards • Maintain a record of achieving a high level of customer satisfaction • Promote, support, and facilitate teamwork and foster a positive environment building morale • Responsible for establishing and achieving sales revenue goals. Achievement of sales is a primary objective. CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES: • Recognizes adverse customer service reactions and addresses them to eliminate repercussions • Consistently goes beyond basic service expectations to help customers with solutions • The prioritization, timely accomplishment, and meeting of deadlines leading to exceeding expectations with identified customer needs • Maintains constant vigilance in evaluating, determining, and assessing customer needs PLANNING AND SCHEDULING RESPONSIBILITIES: • Identify needs and deficiencies in the planning/scheduling and communication translating work requirements into a prioritized plan for individual tasks and assignments • Review and adjust specific workplace activities and schedules to meet customer needs • Work with personnel to overcome work challenges • Report on workforce production, work progress, and revenue generation • Complete required statistical reports • Oversee timekeeping and time cards, including recording late starts/early starts • Recommend personnel transfers, actions, and promotions QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be confident and self-directing • Outstanding leadership skills are necessary • Must be able to utilize Service Titan software (scheduling and invoicing) • Monitoring technicians' job progress. • Close out jobs. • Make sure invoices have the scope of work, and jobs have pictures and notes from the techs. • Ensure tasks are being completed accurately and in a timely manner by field technicians and operational personnel. • Manage workflow by monitoring technicians to make sure all jobs are complete with paperwork accuracy and positive customer service. • Communicate clearly, show recognition, and build rapport with employees. • Manage communications and dispatchers. • Communicate and deal with customer discrepancies, refunds, warranty work, etc. • Perform general clerical duties (e.g., copying, faxing, mail distribution, filing, etc.) • Handle permits and schedule inspections. • Bill out the job upon completion • Attend conference calls and update management on the status of key processes. • Perform all other related duties as assigned in a timely manner. • Manage new employment intakes and paperwork. • Ensure sufficient staff levels to meet ongoing customer demand and seasonal spikes. • Maintain proper pricing for all departments and update regularly. • Maintain customer satisfaction and company reputation. • Maintain employee engagement and positive company culture. • Able to manage Health Insurance/Benefits • Vehicle/Fleet scheduling of maintenance appointments and repairs. • Manage vendor/Subcontractor packets • Good analytical, written, and verbal skills.
