Qualified candidates must have: Active SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 years relevant experience Existing General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) access Proficiency in Excel and the ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data into easily interpreted reports Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with all levels of an organization to include senior military and government civilian personnel. Workplace Type: Full Time Onsite (limited telework optional) Position Description: Heavily utilize MS Office tools, especially MS Excel, to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Provide professional on-site support and technical assistance to Government customer for daily business operations in support of the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). Possess the ability to format reports and analyze BI/ERP data into useful information for tracking financial operations. Review, analyze, and interpret various GFEBS financial documents and reports, against established financial metrics. Review data to assist in the accuracy of financial management data. Assist with financial appropriations analysis and standard reporting based on customer-driven requirements and implemented standards. Support contracting personnel with research, analysis, and documentation to support special projects and task. Independently compile job aids and provide procedural training on processes as requested to end users at the individual and group level in adherence with established policies, rules, and regulations. Serve as a knowledgeable working-level analyst in Army financial and resource management functions Assists senior analysts and government customers in recommendations for modifying, revising, or implementing procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of financial system development, fielding and enhancement Work with various systems feeding into GFEBS to ensure those systems (ATAAPS, DTS, AXOL, etc.) are auditable and feeding accurate financial information. Full understanding of standard financial reports and information to the total cost of a project and the financial health of the organization. Understand how the tracking of the monetary value of all resources are accumulated and reported. Participate in the Army Audit Readiness program by providing financial management and accounting solutions to meet ASA FM&C, DASA-FO and higher headquarter requirements Conduct studies, trend analysis, analyze findings/anomalies and make recommendations to managers to ensure organization/agency financial reporting data is accurate and credible. Perform periodic reviews of unusual or long outstanding balances and document action taken including contract reconciliation and review of unliquidated obligations (ULOs). Retrieve, analyze, and consolidate information from financial accounting systems (GFEBS, LMP, EDA, and MOCAS) to help identify any issues and possible solutions to these financial records.
