This individual will: Create manufacturing batch records Develop and lead projects for cost reduction and efficiency improvements Coordinate production activities with other departments - Provide troubleshooting guidance and support to manufacturing operations Collaborate with R&D to establish and scale-up manufacturing processes Assist with reporting to government agencies Assist in the review and optimization of manufacturing operations Lead root cause analysis for quality investigations of manufacturing deviations Assist with capital improvement projects by creating project plans, finding innovative solutions, and implementing projects on time & budget - Create necessary engineering drawings (P&ID, Process Flow) Lead management of change documentation efforts for the site Assist issuing work instructions and daily/weekly production scheduling Oversee and coordinate daily production activities Off shift operator support Involvement in operator process training, changes and improvements Develop metric tracking operator training Assist with process batch record reviews and ERP entries Assist in developing work instructions for the maintenance team Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred) or Chemistry required Requires 3-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment Prefer hands-on experience in chemical synthesis, and a functional understanding of typical unit operations used in bulk chemical manufacturing. Should be able to manage multiple tasks without supervision and possess strong leadership and communication skills. We are an EOE/AA/M/F/Vet/Disabled E-Verify Employer
