Schuyler Hospital is hiring for a full time Patient Access Representative. This candidate will be responsible for greeting and registering patients. Responsible for efficient processing of patients during the check-in and check-out process. Performing clerical duties such as: answering telephones, patient electronic scheduling, insurance verifications, forms and letters, and performing collection when appropriate. Meets communication needs of patients, their families, providers and staff. Requirements: Education: High School Graduate or equivalent, vocational school preferred. Experience: Registration and clerical experience preferred, but not required Licensure: Must be able to cover other offices on short notice. Physical Requirements: The physical demands of position include; vision, hearing, repetitive motions and environment. Note: Per NYS regulations, all staff working in the Hospital or Seneca View must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
