Do you enjoy developing high performing teams? Are you collaborative across departments to develop and drive the r etail strategy ? Do you stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends within credit unions? If you enthusiastically answered "Yes!" to the questions above, this might be the VP of Operations position for you! Here's the short list of typical responsibilities (not exhaustive, of course): Recruits, interviews, hires, and develops management-level staff in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. Leads teams in retail delivery, contact center, and back-office operations to deliver an exceptional omnichannel member experience. Collaborates with executive leadership to develop strategy and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations' systems and retail strategy. Collaborates with other divisions and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives. Identifies, recommends, and implements new processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline the member experience in alignment with overall business strategy. Establishes, communicates, and implements policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution. Establishes and administers the departments' budgets. Presents periodic performance reports and metrics to the SVP of Member Experience and other executive leaders. Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in credit unions. Identifies training needs and ensures proper training is developed and provided. Last, but not least, here are the typical qualifications for this position: At least 5 years of industry-related experience including five years in management required. Bachelor's degree in industry-related field required; MBA or Masters degree preferred. Preferred skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills, including demonstrating high emotional intelligence. Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the industry. Aligns team performance with business strategies and objectives & Ability to build a strong team culture of trust with a member-focus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Hybrid work environment with one day a week (Thursdays) required in office.
