Position Summary: This is a 9-month tenure-track teaching appointment; fringe benefits-eligible position with summer research opportunity. Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities Teach 12 credit hours per semester Develop academic program and curriculum for agriculture major Serve as an academic advisor for animal science students Write extramural grants Conduct research in their area of expertise Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Effective and interpersonal communication skills and willingness to work with diverse faculty and students are essential. Ability to develop an academic program Write extramural grants Conduct research in their area of expertise Publish in peer-review journals Provide innovative ideas in the subject area, and develop an attractive curriculum for agricultural majors. Education and Experience PH.D. in Animal Science or related field, with teaching experience.
