This is a first shift position working Monday-Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. At Allegiant Manufacturing we pay our employees weekly. Tour our website at www.allegiantmfg.com to discover more about us. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Follows standardized procedures, principles and practices of powder coating application. Operates all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems familiarization with GEMA systems a plus. Effectively performs all duties of a powder coating sprayer, including but not limited to surface preparation, powder coating application, curing, and inspection for acceptable finished product. Ensures that all components are produced and coated efficiently and are consistent with company established quality and delivery goals. Loads and unloads parts in a mainline or custom booth setting. Working knowledge of the mechanics and basic repair of powder coating equipment. Proper cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment, and 5S readiness of work area. May preform preventative and break fix maintenance on powder coating equipment. This job description reflects the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this position. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required, based upon business needs, at any time with or without notice. QUALIFICATIONS High school level education or equivalent specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job. Strong background in Powder Coating a must; > 3 years of experience and/or training preferred. Possesses high attention to detail while operating in a fast paced, high producing environment. Demonstrates ability to work independently with little daily supervision. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. PHYSCIAL DEMANDS Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodations. Must be able to follow work practices and safety guidelines and regulations. Ability to stand on feet for 8- or 10-hour shifts.
