With 40,000 square feet of conference and meeting spaces, Beaver Run is the largest conference center in Breckenridge with the most scenic views and most professional team, services and amenities. What You'll Do: The Security Assistant Manager will assist the Security Manager in the daily operations and staff management of the Security Department. The Assistant Manager will liaise between the resort and Fire, EMS, Police, etc. to ensure compliance, strategize, and cultivate positive community relations. This position will also act as a Security Person and guest services contact in addition to their management duties. These operational duties include traffic and access control; guarding and patrolling physical property; investigations; and guest service. This position has a strong customer service aspect and will commonly interact with guests, vendors, and employees. As Assistant Manager, this position will be additionally responsible for training, performance management, scheduling, time and attendance, and department administrative tasks. Flexible schedule, must be able to occasionally work nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Position starts at $54,000 + DOE Supervisory Responsibilities: Train and ensure compliance of staff Directly oversee daily activities of all security personnel Act as Manager on Duty for all security-related incidents in the absence of the Security Manager Manage scheduling, time and attendance, and payroll Partner with HR and Security Manager to hire staff Duties/Responsibilities: Patrol and guard resort grounds and assets Communicate with affected parties of all security measures affecting access, traffic flow, etc. Check and reset alarms Monitor cameras and perform investigations Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in regards to security and safety matters Act as guest service contact for inquiries, requests, etc. Additional office and administrative tasks What You'll Bring: 2+ years in a supervisory role - preferred 2+ years of security service - preferred 2+ years in customer service - preferred Associates Degree or Technical Certificate - preferred or equivalent experience Experience with SMS Host and Onity/OnPortal software - preferred Proficient at written and verbal communication in English - required Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - preferred Valid driver's license and ability to obtain company insurance approval - required What We Offer: Opportunity for bonuses based on performance and time worked On-site parking steps away from the lifts Employee ski pass purchasing program Hotel + Dining discounts Flexible Time Off Insurance: Health Dental Vision Optional Life, Disability, etc. 401k + match This job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive representation of the tasks and duties.
