San Diego Post-Acute is looking for a caring and compassionate MDS RN/LVN The Company: San Diego Post-Acute is a short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in El Cajon, CA. We are dedicated to providing personalized rehabilitation and nursing services to all who enter our doors. Our healthcare professionals strive to help our residents reach their maximum potential in a caring and supportive environment. At San Diego Post-Acute , caring is our main concern. Our organization is built on the premise that the most effective way to provide compassionate care is to: Maintain high medical integrity Foster a team spirit among staff Create friendly, beautiful surroundings for our residents and their visitors Salary: $120,000-$135,000 yearly Schedule: Full time (Salary) Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate the RAI process, schedule all OBRA required and PPS assessments for all assigned residents according to state and federal regulations Review resident for 30 days following Medicare non-coverage Coordinate input of MDS and care plan data into computer for electronic submission according to regulations Schedule Medicare MDS to maximize reimbursement based on RUGS group scores Data Analysis.Review resident record for skilled nursing needs in accordance with Medicare A guidelines Protect residents' rights to assure fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individual privacy and dignity, property and civil rights Attend training and practices procedures related to safety of environment Provide ongoing education Up date MDS manual as necessary Qualifications: Current licensure in nursing required. Written and verbal communications skills in English as business necessity. Administrative and organizational ability and skills. Current certification in CPR preferred. Two years nursing experience in long term care preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Must pass pre-employment background check and physical.
