**$1500 Sign-on Bonus for full-time employees AND $750 Sign-on Bonus for part-time employees!** Woodfords Family Services is looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our professional team of educators at our Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) in New Gloucester, ME! Who We Are Woodfords Family Services is a nonprofit organization that's been committed to the support and inclusion of people with special needs and their families in Maine communities for over 55 years! Today, the organization provides an array of clinical, behavioral health and educational programs to more than 2,000 children, youth and adults living with autism, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses across the state of Maine. Position Summary The Early Interventions and SPPS Programs are designed to provide educational and behavioral supports and services to learners with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a therapeutic and treatment-based environment. The Speech Language Pathologists will support students within these programs through the following tasks and responsibilities: Provide direct quality speech therapy to students in the Waterville Preschool and Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) program. Conduct speech evaluations as necessary for initial placements and on-going progress assessments. Develops Plans of Care for each individual student and provides written quarterly reports and discharge reports. Provide information, direction and guidance on speech therapy goals to the Teaching Staff. Supervise any speech assistants in accordance with requirements outlined by the Maine Board of Examiners on Speech/language Pathology. Work independently with students and cooperatively with a team of like-minded coworkers Schedule & Compensation This is a year-round, center-based position with full-time OR part-time opportunities! Weekly schedule is Monday-Friday . $54,000 annual salary - commensurate with experience and positon type . Qualifications Must have a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Disorders with current, valid, Certificate of Clinical Competence or appropriate completion of clinical fellowship Must possess good organization, communication and interpersonal skills Benefits matter, and we've got you covered!
