We are a regional industrial and commercial HVAC contractor in Eastern North Dakota & Northern Minnesota that combines professional engineering talent with hands-on technical expertise to provide cost-effective solutions for the design, installation, and maintenance/operation of mechanical systems.We are currently looking for Entry Level HVAC Installer / Apprentice to join our team on a project in Jamestown, ND! Job Summary : Assist Journeyman with the installation of all aspects of industrial and commercial HVAC projects. Installations must be completed following mechanical codes and following job specifications, plans, and contract documents resulting in a complete and excellent working system. HVAC Installers must adhere to all safety procedures outlined in the McFarlane, Inc. Safety Handbook and facility/customer safety programs. Work Hours : four-day work week (typically Monday through Thursday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm; 10-hour workdays) Pay Scale : starting $20 per hour DOE + Benefits Benefits : Medical, Dental, Short-Term Disability, Long Term Disability & Life Insurance, Retirement/Pension Plan Contributions, Company Uniform, Vehicle, Cell Phone & Tablet, Tool Program, Training Programs Required qualifications : Valid driver's license and insurable driving record preferred Must pass drug and background screens High school diploma or GED 1 year of welding and/or HVAC experience preferred Certificate of completion from HVAC Technical School preferred Ability to climb ladders, work at high elevations and lift objects up to 75lbs Ability to relocate to Grand Forks and/or the ability to travel for jobs (within a 2-3 hours radius) after the Jamestown project is competing is desirable
