The Process Analyst will work with Senior Process Leads and Functional Leads as a point of contact for their assigned "end to end" process area working with business units, IT, and other back-office leadership to facilitate SAP projects. This will include continuous improvement opportunities to streamline existing business processes and integration of M & A activities. Process Analyst Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or equivalent experience. Ability to glean and document requirements through business conversations & blueprint workshops and relate those requirements to IT Team for designing solutions. Requirements will be documented and agreed to before solution development. Ability to train others so they can participate in testing, answering first line of support questions, and troubleshoot issues. Applying project management principles to organize, track, and complete task according to plan. This includes delegating tasks to others to ensure deadlines are met. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation and interpersonal skills Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills Two years' experience in accounting and/or business information systems SAP experience is preferred but not required. Process Analyst Responsibilities : Requirements - Participate in IT workshops and conversations to identify and relay business requirements for SAP projects. Rollout Support Model - Educate the business on benefits of SAP support model utilizing functional leads and power users throughout the organization. Obtain their buy in and participation of designating others to be the first line of support to answer questions and to perform testing and training when required. Support Training - Ongoing development of functional leads and power users across all business units so they understand processes and SAP transactions that support those processes. They need to be prepared to answer questions and participate in testing/training activities during roll outs of new businesses integrated into Ergon or continuous improvement implementations. Support assigned system modules and processes - Includes troubleshooting issues and researching continuous improvement opportunities. It is important to utilize functional leads and power users to aid in this activity so process leads and process analyst can participate in other activities. Testing Solutions - need to organize testing and coordinate with other functional leads and power users. Will include documenting all test scenarios, development of scripts, execution of test scripts, documenting & reporting issues back to IT team, retesting. Includes: Setting up all master data to drive the testing. Utilizing test automation software to reduce length of testing. Documenting test results for CAB documentation, including user approvals so transports can be moved into production. Security - will be responsible for assessing security needs for new functionality or mergers/acquisitions. Utilize functional leads to assist. Training End Users - Write training curriculum and/or utilize automated training tools to deliver training to end users. Utilize other functional leads to assist in this effort. Promote standard use of assigned system modules in solving business problems and improving business processes. Utilize project management principles to execute assigned tasks by deliverable due dates. This includes overseeing testing/training efforts of other functional leads/power users to complete the assigned task by due date on project plan. Communicate with the business and IT team members as they work to implement projects and enhancements. Participate and seek to understand upstream and downstream impacts when implementing solutions. Involve other business and IT Team members to understand, document, and communicate impacts to process. Fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
