Position Summary: Control the technical instructions (engineering drawings, specs and manufacturing instruction) for aircraft product assembly and ensure aircraft customer configuration have been released and incorporated on time by Operations. Primary Responsibilities: Configuration Change Management: 75% Follow up / coordination of A220 Airbus change request (PCRs and RCFs) impacting or being raised by Mobile A220 FAL and Flight Line with Operations and ME team. Support to ME team / Operations on special needs due to PCRs / Service Bulletin (required coordination with Facilities, Jigs & Tools and Industrial Engineering). Participate and support meetings with Programs Mirabel on PCRs/SBs as required. Provide visibility and contents of Service Bulletin and Restricted Special Instruction (RSIs) impacting Flight Line. Provide support to customer cabin head of version. Give visibility on released customer tests (CART). Support to Operations and Suppliers Planners on late changes PCRs, RFCs / Engineering order NIEO's Suppliers implementation. Support to Airbus paint supplier with Engineering changes or customer head of version requirements. Support special project as: bill of materials review or technical new requirement impacting the program. Follow up / Check documentation are released on time as per master plan at every takt for all workstations. Provide and maintain daily & weekly KPIs and report to Management. Follow up and validate that all aircrafts configuration is closed & incorporated in aircraft at delivery (As design/As plan/ As build). Request, report and validate/investigate any documentation change requested by ME Mobile to Mirabel Core ME. Support provided to MEs and Suppliers Planners on Quality Line checks for Disclosure Letters (helping them with rework plan and best place to perform the rework). Support and participation in improvement projects. Participate in all meetings A220 Program Change Control Board Meeting. Projects : 15% Support Manufacturing / Industrialization projects as required. Methods Support to the Assembly and Flight Lines as required. Training 5% Ensure Poly-Poly end of year requirements are met Ensure all training outlined by HR and Management are completed in a timely manner Perform other duties assigned Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned: 5 % Responsible for evaluating multiple options and making recommendations to management based on the most appropriate process and methods May serve as project lead on various assignments or initiatives. Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology or equivalent years of relevant experience is required Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace, preferably in a Aerospace Final Assembly Line Internal employees must have successfully completed all poly poly skills at a level 2 requirement. Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Knowledge of common aerospace Tools: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, SAP, CATIA, project management (preferred but not essential) Knowledge of aerospace processes and methods Knowledge about aircraft structures, systems, electrical and / or cabin installations. Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing ( Knowledge of French is an asset) Technical Systems Proficiency: Travel Required: 10% Domestic and International Eligibility: Authorized to Work in the US Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance Decision Making, Complexity: Judgment for evaluating impact of choices made and Influencing outcome Physical Requirements: Vision: able to see and utilize fine work tools, computer screens; able to move through office and from point to point to find specific co-workers and in-house experts. Hearing : able to hear in normal conversations and respond to warnings, signals and alarms Speaking: able to participate in normal business conversations. Equipment Operation : able to operate standard office equipment and utilize electronic id to enter building Carrying : able to carry up to 40 lbs. /18kg. when transporting documents, printer paper and similar items. Lifting: able to lift up to 40lbs/18kg. On occasion. P ushing / Pulling : able to push/pull equipment, tools, production carts and office chairs and pieces of equipment Squatting / Kneeling : able to regularly squat/kneel to access items or tools stored on low shelving standing : able to stand for long periods of time in meetings and discussions Sitting : Able to sit for extended periods of time in front of a machine, on a tool bench or a computer terminal while writing bulletins or participating in meetings. Travel : able to travel in the US and internationally for business.
