We are seeking a Delivery & Prep Drivers for manufacturing projects in our Dallas/Fort Worth, TX region. This role will d eliver high-quality millwork to field locations in a safe and timely manner while maintaining outstanding relations with our internal and external customers. In addition to deliveries, this position also receives prepared millwork, related materials and supplies from project sites. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Responsible for collecting, inspecting quality and securing of millwork or supplies before delivery in an efficient manner. Wraps pieces to be delivered to ensure safe traveling. Loads trucks in proper sequencing for unloading. Checks off items as loaded with delivery ticket so no items are left behind. Unloads and places cabinets as directed into rooms for installation. Maintains vehicle's housekeeping and prepares and completes a daily maintenance record for submission to shop superintendent. Accurately completes timesheets with hours charged to the correct job. Completes material requisition forms to the correct job. Required to strictly comply with all Christman Millwork policies and achieves all required safety certifications. Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner. Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED, or proven ability to adequately fulfill the position. One (1) or more years' of relevant work experience or proven established work history for the position. Preferred Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Valid driver's license and transportation. Must have a clean driving record. Must be able to read and write in English, and understand numbers, fractions, and be able to do basic math functions. Must be able to communicate in English for safety directions and all other communications related to manufacturing or installations. Ability to drive and park large vehicles. Familiarity with using navigations systems. Must have time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule. Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
