What You'll Do Here RevaComm engineers solve complex technical and business problems for our customers by leveraging agile methodologies, DevOps and DevSecOps, and close partnerships with other product team members. You bring amazing user experiences to life through use of your knowledge in one or many application domains. Your efforts and expertise in this role will be in support of one of our Department of Defense customers. Note : We are hiring multiple roles based on this job description If You Join Us, You Will: Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve our DevOps Pipelines Automate Development and Infrastructure activities Secure infrastructure and automate security controls Conduct design, process, and infrastructure/security reviews Work with clients and vendors to develop a best-in-class DevOps solution Identify client MVPs Basic Qualifications: 5+ Years of DevOps experience Ability to obtain a Secret clearance Eager to learn new technologies and gain expert-level understanding of the latest approaches (auto-scaled cloud-based systems, serverless architectures, cloud/on-premises hybrid solutions) A deep understanding for agile and DevSecOps methodologies Experience in providing DevSecOps implementation using Jenkins, Gitlab, or similar tools Creating and maintaining documentation for implementations Experience in developing, testing, and maintaining containerized applications Working knowledge of source version control, build/release tools and methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines Experience with Software Build process Skillset capable of building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for a large enterprise that consists of hundreds of applications Strong 'security first' mindset Experience with cloud systems and architectures (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure) Experience developing software with Java, Spring framework, JBoss, Python, JavaScript, node.js, and/or Angular Experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Packer, Terraform, and Ansible Familiar with microservice architectures (REST, JMS, AMQP) Familiarity with Linux and scripting (Bash and Python, etc) Ability to work on high performing teams supporting multiple projects and personnel Strong oral and written communication skills Proven experience with cloud systems and architectures (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure) Extensive experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) using tools like Jenkins, Packer, Terraform, and Ansible A deep understanding for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for multiple product teams Development experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Experience configuring and using CI/CD automated pipelines, such as Jenkins Strong Bash and Python coding skills Experience with Istio is a plus Our Ideal Candidates Are: Knowledgeable of industry standards and best practices Proficient with Development Operations Comfortable with IT Architecture and System Integration Aware of software development risks, with an appreciation for what is technically feasible Able to maintain a high level of coding, testing, and engineering standards Able to be flexible and adaptable if changes in priorities occur Self-starters and fast-learners who are able to independently research and resolve issues using appropriate resources Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams Confident and proactive in communicating challenges or opportunities Committed to their personal success, as well as success of their peers Technologists at heart and leaders in practice From the Team Lead: As Platform One grows and evolves, RVCM seeks to expand our support the Department of Defense through our long-standing partnership with Platform One.
