Credit & Collections RepresentativeExperienced Credit & Collections Representative sought to join our distribution team. This position is responsible for analyzing credit history and collecting payments from customers in accordance with the Credit Policy. The candidate must exhibit a high level of professionalism at all times and possess excellent communication skills both written and oral. The candidate must be a skillful negotiator and have the ability to collect balances both large and small in a very fast-paced environment. Days and hours: Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm.Key Responsibilities:*Maintaining effective control of all assigned accounts in accordance with guidelines established in the Credit Policy.*Closely monitoring cash receivables, establishing credit relationships with credit-worthy companies and collecting balances within established credit terms.*Communicating with inside and outside sales representatives regarding credit decisions, delinquencies, deliveries, credit holds, etc. *Generating email correspondences and making sound credit decisions on problematic accounts.RequirementsPreferred Qualification and Education: High School diploma mandatory but college degree or college credits preferredFive years of related experienceStrong verbal and written communication skills a mustProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookHigh level of professionalism and persuasive negotiation techniquesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced credit and collections environmentAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of managementBi-Lingual (Spanish) a plusWe offer a very competitive compensation package including: *PPO Health Insurance *PPO Dental Insurance *Company sponsored LTD, AD&D and Life Insurance Policy *401K Plan with a company match *Holiday, Sick and Vacation Paid Time OffDrug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Posted by ApplicantPro
