Global Science & Technology, Inc (GST), a growing scientific and high technology company, is seeking a Sr. Project Coordinator to support NASA NSTEM . This position is located in Cleveland, OH , but is temporarily approved for telework due to Covid-19. A hybrid model of onsite and telework each week will likely be put in place in the coming months. Position Summary: The NASA MUREP Aerospace Academy (MAA) is a national, innovative activity designed to increase participation and retention of historically underserved and underrepresented youth in STEM. In 2022, NASA released MAA 3.0, the third iteration of the MAA program, which is managed by Glenn Research Center's (GRC) Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM). The Senior Project Coordinator supporting MAA will provide ongoing support as the MAA 2.0 program comes to completion and throughout the first year of MAA 3.0 including coordinating multi-site national education projects: the development of training materials, implementation, program reporting, and awardee technical assistance and support. Primary Duties: Coordinate education projects including tracking deliverables, conducting compliance reviews of reports, and monitoring timelines and schedules. Develop, update, and repackage training materials. Provide high school capstone training workshops. Develop and facilitate culminating events for high school capstone activities. Provide ongoing implementation support to MAA sites. Monitor awardee implementation, reporting, and evaluation. Develop communications products. Program LED boards to control a rover and design rover wheels to be 3D printed. Support performance reporting Collect, analyze, and summarize performance and evaluation data. Provide technical assistance and support for the closeout of the MAA 2.0 awardees. Track MAA project activities and respond to inquiries. Compose and submit draft and final MAA accomplishments, highlights, status updates, and upcoming activities for various data calls. Required Education/Experience/Skills: Master's degree in Education, or a technical subject (science, technology, math or engineering), or related area of study. MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE : 6 - 10 years demonstrated successful experience with high school level engineering (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering), physics, technology, and robotics; content knowledge of the NASA Simulated Lunar Operation (SLOPE) and Power Management Distribution high school capstone activities; experience programming an LED Board and a Rover using Arduino; proficient in a computer-aided design program that can create a 3-dimensional wheel design; experience using 3D Printers to print Tinkercad designs for testing; and destructive interference of waves; experience developing training videos, and content for social media platforms and web pages; experience coordinating multi-site national education projects including tracking deliverables, conducting compliance reviews of reports, and monitoring timelines and schedules; experience collecting, analyzing, and summarizing performance and evaluation data; experience conducting compliance reviews of reports; experience making recommendations for project improvement; proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Google Sheets for dashboards, score cards, and data tracking and analysis.
