Qualifications High school diploma or recognized equivalent required. Vital skills include: customer service, relationship management, written/oral communication, professional interaction, diversity awareness, stress management, time allocation, and priority allocation. Must maintain accurate knowledge of Data Analytics program offerings, admissions requirements, and technical education benefits. Must be able to participate in local recruitment and informational interactions with students, colleagues, and industry partners. Job Summary Serves as primary person for outreach, retention, and placement of Data Analytics students. There will be a specific focus on activities that spotlight female participation. This person will coordinate periodic Lunch and Learn sessions, assist with evaluation data collection, and student job placement. They will also help coordinate visits to schools, options for younger students, and research relevant jobs in the area. Essential Duties : This position requires extensive hands-on interaction with Data Analytics faculty, staff, students, educational partners, and community members. General: Create and implement plans to expand awareness of the Data Analytics program to the community. Work with Data Analytics faculty and Instructional Designer to develop and implement student recruitment and retention plans. Participate in relevant community events (e.g., career fairs, parent nights, scholarship events, high school registration, community events, etc.). Maintain and strengthen relationships with collaborative partners (e.g., high schools, advisory members, employers, industry professionals, sponsoring agencies, student support agencies, etc.) Assist faculty in job placement activities. Organize and lead high school, middle school, industry, female, and rural student outreach. Help create a female Data Analytics community of practice and coordinate Lunch and Learn events to encourage and support this community. Perform related duties as required or other assigned.
