Sandata is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect who in this role will identify, analyze, and evaluate multiple sources of data and transactional systems, to design and implement data architecture standards for new generation transaction systems as well as data lake / data warehouse solutions to meet the company's business needs. This position is remote, and the candidate can sit anywhere in the United States. What you will do: Develop, implement, and communicate a comprehensive enterprise-level data architecture, and data strategy including data management for business operations data, master data management Provide data architecture thought leadership to cross-functional teams in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modeling, data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, statistical methods, database design and implementation. Define enterprise data architecture framework, standards and best practices that lead to organization-wide improvements in data quality, data security, data interoperability and portability, and data-centricity Affect organizational data improvement and quality through identification of business and technical requirements, pain points, development of mitigation strategies, and partner with data providers, integrators, and consumers to improve quality where it is needed Aid efforts to improve business performance by leading data architecture and technology gap analyses, highlighting current and future state needs, best practices, and solution offerings, and developing a comprehensive architecture and implementation roadmaps to achieve future state Develop Enterprise Data Flow Diagrams, Enterprise Data Model(s), Enterprise Data Architecture Diagram(s), Data Catalogs and Data Dictionaries for use across the Enterprise What you will bring: Thought leadership with 15+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering and Governance with a minimum of 10 years in healthcare industry Minimum of 5 years creating a data transformation roadmap, developing, and sustaining a data strategy Understanding of common information architecture frameworks, healthcare information models and master data management Experience in architecting data models for master data management and high-volume transaction systems Extensive experience architecting data lakes / data warehouse including multidimensional data modeling, such as star schemas, snowflakes, normalized and de-normalized models, handling "slow-changing" dimensions/attributes Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or a related field, or its equivalent in work experience Perks and Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Flexible Spending Account for health and dependent care Health Savings Account BenefitsVIP/Health Advocate Company paid Life insurance and STD 401(k) Plan Aflac STD, LTD, Critical Illness, Hospital, and Accident insurance Employee Assistance Program Tuition reimbursement & paid certification programs In-house product training programs Catalog of training courses for skills development Career Pathing for every department Employee Resource Groups (BIPOC, LGBTQ, Women, Military Veterans) Paid vacation, sick days, and holidays Paid lunch break Employee discounts and company perks Casual work environment Remote work Frequent employee events and fun social clubs Sandata Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/Disabled/Vet
