CSET's Sequoia Community Corps Case Management Team is seeking a Program Coordinator to assist in overseeing case management goals and objectives for the Back2Work program in Delano, Bakersfield, and Wasco. The right candidate will be able to work independently in a high-functioning environment with a diverse population/personalities. Strong communication, writing, time management, and comprehension skills are a must. Must be able to work with little to no supervision. This position will work out of the Delano office. SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this position is to assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet objectives and goals established for the Sequoia Community Corps Case Management team. The incumbent of this position is also responsible to provide technical assistance to staff in the areas of recruitment, screening, training, and evaluation of program milestones. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop Back2Work procedures in accordance with case management topics and standards Be diligent in time management to meet program deadlines Works in collaboration with funding sources, partners, and staff in promoting and furthering program goals and objectives Facilitates meetings, orientations, trainings, and workshops Monitors and conducts quality assurance within department programs Remains updated on program requirements and regulations affecting trainees and employers Completes required reports on the progress of program milestones and activities Assists in staff professional development trainings and activities Trains new case managers in program milestones and paperwork, including, but not limited to enrollments, exits, follow-up, etc. Plans, organizes, and coordinates with partners, funding sources, employers, and other organizations, to ensure that program objectives are met Promotes and implements marketing opportunities and other activities that inform the community about the program and its trainees Ensures that program trainees have access to supportive services and crisis response services, as needed Prepares, maintains, and compiles statistical information, correspondence, memos, and emails Models positive behavior expected of program staff Serves as a liaison responding to customer problems, questions, or concerns and coordinates with the proper agency personnel to provide timely and accurate answers . Remains updated on occupational and local labor market information, program requirements, and regulations affecting trainees and employers Compiles and studies occupational, educational, and economic information to aid in making and carrying out vocational and educational objectives Participates in outreach events and meetings with partner agencies as assigned Participates in training and professional development to build the required knowledge for the position Performs other duties including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to uphold company principles and practices to the highest degree and represent the agency in a professional manner Provide exceptional customer service for individuals from various backgrounds that includes efficient, precise, and courteous communication in a dignified environment Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers, employees of the organization, or outside partners Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employers, co-workers, members of other agencies, and the general public Ability to deal with customers and staff in a calm, professional, friendly, and patient manner Ability to work under pressure and work with different types of personalities Knowledgeable of modern office procedures and methods is proficient in the use of a computer, Windows operating system including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Access) and program database Possess communication skills , research abilities, flexibility, and an ability to work well with others Ability to read and interpret documents Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Knowledge of the local labor market and employer expectations Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Possess in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the various company programs and the ability to communicate policy information in a clear and detailed manner Ability to work effectively with minimal/no supervision Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form WORK CONDITIONS & ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
