We are seeking a full-time Consumer Lending Specialist to join our Lending department. Consumer Lending Specialists are responsible for connecting with members through calls, email, and online messaging systems to address lending needs of members by structuring loans and ancillary products while complying with our lending guidelines. Day-to-day job duties include: Collaborating with members to process loan applications, collect required completed documents for underwriting. Utilize the credit bureau reports for additional benefits or opportunities to provide for the members. Work closely with the underwriters to coordinate closings for the disbursal of funds. Ensure loans are reviewed under company policies and procedures. Maintain various reports as requested by management. Assist with loan maintenance such as payment extensions, due date changes and "Skip-A-Pay" program. Execute consistent follow up throughout the lending process. This position will be based out of our Main Office located in Nashville. Hours are Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Compensation: Begins at a minimum of $22.00/hr BENEFITS We are proud to offer competitive wages and an extensive benefits package including employer paid medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, long-term and short-term disability for all employees (additional coverage for family members may be selected at the expense of the employee). Ability to work effectively and multi-task in a high-volume environment. A strong working knowledge in PC applications specifically MS Word and Excel with the ability to move swiftly and accurately between multiple applications. Self-motivated and results oriented. High degree of patience and problem-solving ability. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to use a computer for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Three years' experience in consumer lending required.
