Shulman Rogers' Creditor's Rights, Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Department is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will have five or more years of experience in commercial and residential foreclosure, with an emphasis on Washington, DC and Maryland foreclosures, bankruptcy and related work. Duties include: Managing a large in-office paper and electronic filing system. Managing and handling large-scale notice mailings independently. Update and maintain online client management systems. Handle court filings both paper and electronic in all DMV state courts, US District Courts and US Bankruptcy Courts. Draft and revise correspondence and court documents without supervision. Knowledge and use of state and federal electronic filing systems. The successful candidate must possess: Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures pertinent to the area of assignment; Knowledge of foreclosure procedures and deadlines with an emphasis on MD procedure; Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;. Ability to type 70 wpm and good knowledge of Word software suite. Shulman Rogers offers a hybrid working environment for employees when appropriate.
