Description:
FUNCTION: The lube technician is responsible for routine maintenance and minor repairs on heavy equipment. KEY ACTIVITIES: Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values. Responsible for minor repairs, preventative maintenance, fueling and lubrication of equipment. Coordinate and communicate needed repairs on equipment and vehicles. Basic record keeping Assist in maintenance shops as needed. Maintain tools as required to perform job. Ensure a safe and healthful work environment at all times. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Attention and commitment to safety Ability to work well with others in a team environment Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to follow directions with minimal or no supervision Ability to operate heavy equipment Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electronics, and familiar with associated components Self-motivated and provides quality work. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Drivers License, Medical Card and clean MVR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to move at least 50 pounds Ability to work long hours outside (10-14-hour days) Ability to stand for long periods of time with intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling and reaching as required.
