Job description Shipping & Assembly is an extremely detail-oriented self-starter who possess excellent communication skills and can juggle multiple tasks with speed. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise between departments involved in SouthWood's sales and fabrication process. We need someone that is extremely dependable and strives to learn and grow professionally. Work Hours: Monday - Thursday 5:30AM - 4PM + Overtime as required . Key Responsibilities Reports to Shipping & Assembly Manager Build crates using power tools Wrap and pad signs in preparation for install Assist the entire facility as needed Assists with quality control on all projects Prepares installation jobs to ensure they are complete and ready to load Participates with final assembly of jobs as needed Receives shipments / Prepares outgoing shipments Coordinate local pickup of goods Facility & shop truck maintenance as directed Assist running shipping in the absence of the shipping manager Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 3+ Years of shipping and receiving experience 3+ Yea r s of solid hand tool & mechanical knowledge Solid computer knowledge (Email, Microsoft Platform, Adobe) HoursStandard: Mon - Thursday @ 5:30A.M. - 4:00P.M. Overtime required by SWC : Currently, production demands Fridays 5:30 - 11:30, 2, or 4 PM (subject to change per demand - Saturdays maybe required in the future)
