FWDthink is seeking a highly qualified Jr. - level Administrative Acquisition Specialist to support our U.S. Air Force client. This role supports a full range of administrative functions for an organization's administrative duties that are required to accomplish the appropriate acquisition management and oversight responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities Perform administrative support functions to assist Air Force Program Manager or Contracting Specialist in the administrative efforts of the (1) requirements planning phase, (2) requirement package development, (3) produce reports and data, and (4) develop and maintain business rules. The right candidate will be familiar with military customs and courtesies, have strong oral and written communication skills, and understand the DoD and Federal Government acquisition process. Assist with performing acquisition strategy planning to include assisting and collecting requirement package(s) for contract file from mission partners. Assist with performing reviews and assist in developing Performance Work Statements and Statements of Work with the mission partner. Assist with Draft acquisition/contract documentation for supported official(s). Documents include, but not limited to, requirement package documentation, Acquisition Strategy Panel (ASP) briefing slides, Acquisition Plan (AP), Business/Contract Clearance form(s), Request for Proposal (RFP), and contract award(s). Assist with performing all pre-award and post-award functions with direction from supported official cradle-to-grave contracting. Submit contract file or document(s) as required. Pre-award functions include market research, coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., Small Business Representative), publicizing contract actions, soliciting requirements, and drafting evaluation of offeror's proposal(s), and drafting awards. Meet critical milestones (e.g., package receipt, ESIS, ASP, solicitation, evaluation, award). Post-award functions include contract administration (e.g., exercise of contract options), terminations, and closeout. Meet critical milestones (e.g., provide timely notice and exercise options unilaterally IAW FAR 52.217-9). Assist in the performance of price and cost analysis. Assist in the development and maintenance of administrative tools, templates, training, and program governance reporting. Ensure all administrative support efforts are consistent with the governance principles and framework, government statutes, policies, regulations, and related guidance. Provide support in developing and documenting various types of requirements and other information in support of the Mission Partner's acquisition(s). Develop, review, and account for the applicable documentation required to execute the acquisition project. Participate in meetings pertinent to the planning of assigned requirement(s) Advise and assist in establishing useful acquisition data collections from existing systems. Apply sound strategies for obtaining quality acquisition data from different sources, integrating and developing actionable information. Prepare applicable acquisition reports and acquisition briefs on an as needed basis. Assist with the administrative duties with maintaining acquisition process and recommend goals to improve acquisition tradecraft to include streamlining process, lead times, on-time award rates, achieve quality requirements documentation, improve performance and drive efficiencies for acquisitions. Assist with the administrative duties with maintaining various acquisition documents such as but not limited to policy, standard operating procedures, governance, and templates. Assist in the administrative duties with business rules, slides and recommend standardized (e.g., SMART START, ESIS, ASP, Contract Court, Annual Execution Review).
