Fusion Inc is an industrial distributor/engineering firm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa specializing in supplying sealing components and related polymer components to numerous OEMs across the country . We are looking for someone with an Industrial Technology degree or equivalent background to support our warehouse and customer fulfillment operations. Duties include: Utilizing a variety of equipment to design and build automation equipment. Support, monitor and improve existing automation equipment and production processes. Assist with our quality process by performing physical measurement and inspection of parts, and by reviewing and completing inspection documentation. Design and revise inspection templates and drawings. Creating and implementing quality standards. Ensuring processes comply with safety regulations and support customer requirements. Inspecting and testing products as necessary. Assist with the continuous improvement process and new systems development. Assist with customer complaint resolution and subsequent corrective actions. Ideal candidates will possess the follow skills and characteristics: Drafting / CAD experience (Solidworks, print and schematic reading). Familiarity with and ability to program industrial robots or equivalent programming experience. Experience with programable logic controllers and PLC programming. Experience with 3D printing, CNC routers and laser engravers. Ability to machine simple parts and build simple machines.
