A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS As the Vice President of Operations for our financial institution, you are an integral part of our senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal role is responsible for managing branch operations and member service channels. As a strong and dynamic leader, you play a vital role in supporting our workforce and mission in a variety of complex situations.As our VP of operations, you have the opportunity to create a positive and member-focused environment at the branch level, while also supporting other areas of our financial institution, such as accounting, collections, compliance, lending, IT, and board members. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS 5+ years of experience as a branch manager or similar leadership role Ability to prepare and present accurate financial reports and respond to information requests for regulatory agencies and internal or external auditors Ability to clearly communicate directions and expectations to staff as well as report clearly to the CEO, audit committee, and board of directors Experience in following and interpreting organizational policies and procedures with a high degree of understanding of financial institution compliance and regulations Ability to navigate digital systems, including core functions, payment systems, Office365 applications, and ATM systems Experience with strategic planning or budgeting Our ideal VP will have extensive experience in the credit union industry, with a proven track record of building and leading strong teams that foster high levels of trust and independent decision-making.
