Assistant Program Manager- Community Based Day Services Program (DSP4) Pathlight is happy to announce the re-opening of our Greenfield Community Based Day Services Program! While we work to staff and prepare for re-opening of our day program, we will be looking for applicants that are flexible to train and support neighboring group homes in Franklin county at this time. Pathlight is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Program Manager to flex between our Greenfield, MA Day Program and Various Group homes in the local Franklin County area as assigned by the manager. Previous experience working in a group home environment required. Day Program and supervisory experience preferred. Location: Flexibility to work in various locations a must for this role. Our Day Program remains closed for the time being, and this position would require you to work in a group home setting until the day program re-opens as COVID protocols allow us to do so safely. Hours : 40hours/week; Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm. The hours are split between working in a local Group Home and the Day Program. Once the Day program reopens, you will work Tuesday-Friday at the Day Program and Saturday in one of the local group home locations in Franklin County. Summary of position : This unique position allows you spend time at one of our Group homes supporting some of the individuals that participate at our Day Program. At the group home you would perform a variety of routine direct care duties to support and assist individuals with developmental disabilities, and to promote their dignity, safety, health, welfare rights and development, including advanced medical and behavioral treatment. Guide staff and perform other duties requiring advanced training. At the Day Program you'd help support the individuals we serve to achieve their goals. Whether individuals secure jobs or volunteer placements, they benefit. Utilizing their unique set of skills, they learn responsibility, dependability, and pride in their accomplishments, and they grow through involvement in the community. Qualifications : Knowledge of Human Services, direct care supports, basic routine health care, basic teaching instruction, previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs. Equivalent to high school diploma plus specialized training/courses. Valid driver's license required. Salary: $24.00/hr.
