Position start: June 1st 2023 BASIC FUNCTION/PURPOSE Assures the smooth and efficient operation of a well-organized office in a positive and professional manner. Specific tasks will be defined by the principal and could include school bookkeeping, maintaining student data, providing general clerical support, serving as a receptionist for the building, or a combination of specific duties from these areas. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepares or manages any reports, letters, or any other paperwork as assigned to support the smooth functioning of the school Manages phone calls and attempts to provide appropriate responses or direct questions or messages as needed Maintains current and well organized records specific to the assigned tasks Performs clerical tasks as related to the specific duties assigned Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer applications as applicable to job responsibilities Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and material. Maintains knowledge and skills to promote proficiency in the operations of an organized, efficient office. Collects and synthesizes data as needed Interacts with peers and other stakeholders in a positive and professional manner Performs duties in a timely manner Complies with school, system, state and federal regulations and policies as related to job requirements Performs specific duties or a combination of duties as assigned by the principal (bookkeeping, student data, etc.) Remains flexible in terms of the altered scheduling, special or unanticipated events, and other demands of a school day Performs other duties as assigned by the principal EDUCATION AND CREDENTIAL High school Diploma of equivalent with some formal training and/or experience in office practices. EXPERIENCE Positive references are required.
